Private Client Associate

PRIVATE CLIENT ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

  • Two+ years full-time experience in a professional, preferably corporate, environment
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University

Company sponsored Series 7 within 6 months of hire date.  Private Client Associate positions are available to currently registered candidates.  Unregistered candidates would be hired as a Private Client Assistant until registration is complete.

Responsibilities:

Work as a member of a team consisting of up to four Financial Advisors, two to three Private Client Associates and one Administrative Assistant.  Responsibilities include:

  • Heavy client interaction and problem solving for high net worth prospects, clients and intermediaries.
  • Client Servicing
  • process cash flows
  • special projects
  • prepare meeting materials
  • explain current strategy in their portfolio
  • research topics as needed
  • discuss market related matter
  • explain Bernstein products and services
  • account creation, maintenance and reconciliation
  • liaison between client and all other departments (operations, compliance, portfolio management, etc.)
  •  Analytical Work
  • portfolio and overall net worth analysis
  • create and update customized spreadsheets
  • create presentation material from proprietary forecasting and net worth tools
  • evaluate potential tax consequences of transactions
  • General office administrative skills

  • database maintenance
  • scheduling meetings
  • filing
  • running account reports
